for those of us who just got accepted to nursing school and have to wait 2 freaking years to start ...check in here!!
personally, i will have things to do next year though. i have to go through the nursing asst. program first (spring '07). then, we're allowed to take pharmacology and dosage calculations one semester before we start actual nursing school.
of course, there's all those immunizations to look forward to also!
Hello, I started NS in January 2008. I began this quest in June 2006. I finished my pre reqs in August 2007 and applied to the Fall 2007 program but didnt get in because of there being so many applications. But I did get my letter for January 2008. So Good Luck to all.
Well nice to meet you then! Good luck. Best advice is to work hard, get good grades on your pre-reqs and go ahead and get a nln study guide book so you can start studying for it now.
Hi! I start NS in the fall of 2008 as well! I am so excited/nervous! My hubby (computer genus) made me a message board for anyone who is starting NS in Fall of 08 so we can be each others support team. Anyone who wants the link just PM me.
I start in the Fall also. I'm trying to chill out an enjoy the summer. We all have a lot of work ahead of us! I am focusing on losing weight and getting in shape for the fall. I know it will help with stress and the physical demands of clinicals. So far I've lost 12 lbs. It gives me something else to think about. Future:nurse: :yeah:
I am starting the Nursing Program here in Late August. The orientation in June 10th and I can't wait! I have already contacted 2nd and 3rd years to ask questions because I want to know what we will be doing and covering, what to expect and all that good stuff.
