just like everyone else, i am curious on the competition for this year's applicant pool!
so if you are an applicant and so inclined to share please list:
prerequisite application gpa & points as per the clackamas community college point system.
since i started this thread it's logical for me to begin with my gpa & points:
3.91 gpa
54.84 pts
good luck everyone!
I was told that they were planning to do interviews during the last week of May, so I would think they'd have to let us know what our point totals are any day now in order to have time to get the interview letters out and schedule the interviews. However, I was told this by the same person who gave me some faulty information regarding last year's point cut off for interview so you never know!
Ok everyone. Like I said before I got into clackamas for a summer program (providing I didn't bomb my interview) Just wanted to let you know that it wasn't that bad. The people seem really nice and there is a written and oral portion. I feel like that is all I can say but wanted to assure those of you going through it that it is not bad at all. Just be genuine, the interviewers make you feel very comfortable
I got my points letter from Clackamas today as well. My points were correct, in fact .60 more than what I had so I can't complain. That's probably not a biggie but I'll take everything they give me. So sometime after the 19th we should get our "you got an interview" or "rejected" letters.....
Good luck everyone.
I'm wondering if those of you who have accepted an offer from another school and who also applied to CCC decided to let them know to take you out of the applicant pool or if you are still going to see if you get into CCC? Just wondering how that will affect the applicant pool.
It depends if they have an alternate lists for interviews. If someone declines an interview and they do have an alt list, then I would assume someone from the alt list would move up for an interview. (I think this is the case for OCNE schools.) Theoretically, if one has an offer from one school and also tries for Clackamas, then that would keep someone a fraction of a point down from getting an interview.
For Mt. Hood, I was told if someone declines an interview, I would be eligible to interview with them. So I must have been very close in points for MHCC.
I think most who have been accepted have already notified other schools to remove their name from the applicant pool.
