Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

Did ask for feedback for the application and was recommended to get advanced (have exemplary now) on TEAS due to the competitiveness of the program and the amount of students they accept. Higher academics first.
I'm not sure if I should retake my TEAS I got an 83 overall

Hope you got accepted on both. What is the second school you applied to ? And what is your overall stats ?

The UTHSC website states that the deadline is September 15th. However, my applyUTH said it was September 1st, which I clarified in an email with the college. They said to go according to the website.

I applied to TAMU nursing. I considered UH and TWU but I didn't know about TWU and I'm already a UH student and I wasn't too fond of the school, also the nursing program is very new as far as I know. My GPA overall is around 3.8, Science GPA also around 3.8, my HESI scores were 94.8% for TAMU and 96.3% for UTH. I did score pretty high on the indv sections, but I studied a lot. I used the SmartEdition HESI V2 textbook to study and just worked on the sections I needed (basically everything minus Physics). My 2nd HESI which I sent to UTH I had 100 on A&P and Bio, 98 math, 96 grammar and chem, 92 vocab and reading. I already have a very strong foundation in the sciences so I was actually more worried about the english parts LOL

I'm just wondering if I have to wait for their email containing the 7-digits in order to log in to view the status or it should have been sent already? Just want to make sure I didn't do anything incorrectly.
It might take a few days, thats how it was for me

Nope nothing yet. Maybe they won't start reviewing applications until after the deadline
