  1. Okay same. I'm wondering if they'll be asking questions like "why do you want to be a nurse" or "talk about a time where you…”
  2. Hey guys! Who is going to the interview day on Friday? How are yall preparing for it?
  3. before I applied, I noticed that this program was the hardest one to find any information on. every time I called the school nobody would answer so it made me skeptical. I feel like we are allowed to ask for matriculation data (attrition rate, graduation rate, etc.) and they should not have a problem disclosing it from applicants... I know that accelerated programs are extremely rigorous in nature, but that Reddit post did make me really nervous! What other programs are you all applying to?
  4. Congrats to everyone who has been sent an invitation to the interview day! I know they sent some links about the program's policies to look over and prepare for. Does anyone know what type of interview questions they will be asking? Does anyone know someone who has been accepted into a previous cycle? I'm wondering if it will be a 1-on-1 interview or a group interview with other applicants. I also would like to start thinking about some of my responses to possible interview questions.
  5. Nope nothing yet. Maybe they won't start reviewing applications until after the deadline
  6. I called admissions and asked about how they select applicants and the person on the phone told me that there is a point-based system. Essentially the highest grades and TEAS scores are the only criteria they use to select applicants and offer acceptances. I think your stats are great and you have a good shot, and I definitely don't believe that 3.7-3.6 GPA is low or "tanked" by any means. My GPAs are much lower LOL
  7. Is there a forum for this program? It's hard to find any information and insight on it.
  8. Hi! Thank you for answering questions. What location are you at? Do you mind telling me what your stats were when you got in? How does you stats compare to the others in your cohort? Also how do you like your cohort? I wanna know what the atmosphere is like between your classmates. thanks!
  9. Hello! Wanted to get a thread started for those interested in applying for Spring 2025.
  10. I got the same email! I assume the questions might be nursing related or ethical questions... but I agree it sounds intense because you cant rerecord anything LOL
  11. Oh wow ?I didn't realize the TEAS test held so much weight in the application. I have around 2400+ patient care experience hours and I've worked as a CNA so im just hoping that counts for something ?
  12. Has anyone gotten into this program with a TEAS score that is below the very advanced category?
  13. Probably University of Houston 2nd degree BSN. I already have a bachelor's degree so I am looking for a program where I can get my BSN in 12-15 months.
