Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

Has anyone been accepted so far? Has anyone called the school? This wait is so long!! I know we are just two days after the deadline. Also, does anyone have a transcript analysis link in their APPLYUTH? I heard from previous batches that UT evaluates transcripts and calculates our GPA.

Looks like in previous years acceptences came out in mid-October!

I also haven't gotten a transcript analysis yet

Are they sending out transcript analyses?

I heard that they do their own transcript analysis and you will be able to see it under APPLYUTH. I don't have that link yet.

What is a transcript analysis and where would we find it under once they do it? like where in the application ?

Once it is done, you should be able to find a link called ' transcript analysis' under active application.

It basically shows you your GPA (nursing, cumulative, and science) based on their calculations

I know they did one last application cycle, but they said it was inaccurate and they took it down after a day. They said it was something that they are trying out, so they are doing it again for this cycle?

I got this info from the previous application cycle candidates. Not sure if they will do it this time around.

Yes, I also applied previous application cycle and got accepted. I was not able to attend due to some personal reasons so I am reapplying this cycle. I actually called them regarding the transcript analysis and spoke with someone. They said it was a new system that they are trying out but it was inaccurate and that information was not supposed to be released so they took it down after a day. 
 

So did anyone from the school confirm they will be doing that again this year with an updated system?

I am not sure. That is just old information I guess. So they may just take our transcript GPA.
