Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston Pacesetter BSN Spring 2025

Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

 

Mine says "Application under review" I'm so nervous. All of yall stats are higher than mine. I actually got accepted Summer 24 cohort but was "conditioning accepted" if I retook two prerequisites classes and got it done before nursing school start date but I received the Acceptance letter on Monday, called on Tuesday to Lonestar to sign up for those two classes but the last day to sign up was Monday. One day late. But everything happens for a reason.

That is so unfortunate. But as you said everything happens for a reason. I never knew they gave conditional acceptance.

Mine said ' application under review' up until they received my transcript. It was changed to ' application received' as soon as it was received. Please check with them if anything is pending. 

If you don't mind, can you share your stats?

Is there any acceptance so far for Cizik for Spring 2025? Any one? I know some people are not frequent posters here. Do you know anyone got accepted? even those who are not in this group?

I understand it is early. but this wait is too painful!

does anyone else's application say "application under review"? mines has only ever said application received so I'm not sure if it changes when they're evaluating applications

in your to do list are there any items that are listed ? mine said that when I had things to fix in my to do list . if not I would call and ask

I emailed this past week and they said that all applicants will find out by November 15th. I am hoping that we will hear something soon. Also mine says application received.
