Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston Pacesetter BSN Spring 2025

Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

It is working for me- still says application received though. Sometimes I noticed that Google Chrome doesn't work for the portal, so switching browsers has helped.

nothing so far. Last year they started hearing back from Oct 5! checking my email every minute

I met one of student fairs office employee yesterday. They came to a universe fairs at HCC. I asked her about when will get responses. She said probably after mid of October.

We will just wait. I hope we all get in!

I can not lose any semester.

 

Since we are all here why we don't share any scholarship options or funding assistance if you know one!

I've heard about nursing scholarships.org they have links to scholarships for nursing students and some for woman and minorities too! I think it also has tips for essays and questions with the scholarships https://www.nursingscholarships.org/texas/
