Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

Hi sac12! Thank you for making this forum, I know it'll be very helpful!! I already have some questions regarding the apply UTH application: how do we enter our volunteer experience? I can only find the area to enter in employment/professional/military history, but not a community enrichment section.

Hey! Just checking in here. Applied for the fall last min but if I don't get accepted I will be applying for the Spring as well.

Hi!! So I did get a rejection email for Fall 24 so I'm applying for Spring 25 soon!

From what I remember I don't think they had another section, I put my volunteer experience in that same section under professional

I did as well. Kind of figured so due to late documents being sent from the other college and etc but applying for Spring after I retake TEAS. Did ask for feedback for the application and was recommended to get advanced (have exemplary now) on TEAS due to the competitiveness of the program and the amount of students they accept. Higher academics first.

I responded to the denial email and asked.

I said that wrong I have advanced they recommend exemplary.

I also messaged the same person who send out the denial email and she said to look at the minimum requirements on their website, which I already reach 😭

I was told that too then I said okay in regards to the TEAS and then got that line LOL

@This Thing I also reached the minimum requirements and still got denied (2x!) 😭 the only thing I could think of doing is improving my GPA a bit so I'm going to retake a class.
