City Colleges of Chicago: Fall 2012

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Hi!

I thought I would start a thread for those of us who have applied for the Fall 2012 Nursing Program at the City Colleges of Chicago. I have heard that they are letting people know on April 18th. Let's hope that's accurate because I'm so anxious to find out! Post here if you've heard anything at all in regards the the Nursing Program!

Hope to hear from everyone soon!

Kat

@ Bethany1975 I wouldn't worry about it-her email should be in the city colleges directory. You just made it easier for us!

Yes, Daley was my City College of choice

I have to agree with EmanEMT, my GPA is a 3.7 and I still didn't get an e-mail.

Dr. Gurney in no way indicated the acceptance process was done. She said they sent out emails to the applicants with very high scores. That was probably the easy part. Now they have a bunch of people with wonderful GPA's that they have to sift through.

From the email she sent me I realized my GPA was definately not making the cut.

I can't imagine that this is an easy process with over 1700 applicants.

I actually almost feel good knowing. I don't know if I could have taken another day like yesterday.

I'm sorry for all those still waiting. I really want things to work out for you.

I emailed Dr. Gurney yesterday and haven't received a response.

Bethany1975, if you don't mind what was your TEAS score?

My TEAS was 75%.

Sounds like I'm in your boat Bethany1975:cry:

Will wait for the confirmation email in the coming days, that way I can make my next move

**Bethany1975,Would you be kind enough to give me more info about the bridge transfer program at UIC. Seems like I'm on the same boat as you and want to look into other options as well. I've actually never heard of those kind of programs so any info is appreciated. What does the program consist of? What do you need to apply? Or where can I look to get more info?**Kmccoy,Same question goes for you any info about transfer bridge programs is appreciated? Also if you can tell me where I can look to get more info about what schools offer those. **Thanx in advance and hopefully we still get our email.

Bummer, Bethany! I hope you get wait-listed, though! I'm looking forward to having classes together!

Still pulling for ll of you who don't know, yet! Sending good thoughts your way!!

I got my letter!!!! I'm accepted to Daley! Good luck to everyone that are still waiting keep the faith, God never disappoints trust!

Congrats purple_gal. Mind posting your stats?

My cumulative GPA is 3.735 and my TEAS wasn't that great it was a 62.3%. I'm pretty sure it's the GPA.
