Hi fellow nurses! I am Sherry and I applied to the CHOC fellowship for multi specialty area recently & was just wondering if anyone else has applied for it too?
i graduated in May 2017 so technically I’m not considered a new grad, but I’ve never actually worked in an acute care as a RN, only outpatient. so technically I’m a stale new grad? it’s super difficult to make it in the hospital w/o acute care experience, so I decided to apply to the fellowship!
Do you know if they’ll let us know by email or phone call? I know that they notify you by email if you didn’t get a job offer, but I was wondering if they also email you if you did get a job offer.
Has anyone received an email for an interview for the NICU?! It sounds like everyone else has already heard from all the other units and interviews have started except for those that applied to the NICU.

I have not. Still listed as 'under consideration' without any word. Does anyone have a contact we could reach out to? I would think by now they have already selected and interviewed everyone, but maybe the Mission Campus has a different timeline..?
Hi! Not a NICU applicant, but I'm in the same boat with ED. I haven't heard that anyone else has gotten updates or interviewed with this unit, and my status is still "under consideration" as well.
