  1. @linkinBSN Hi! I was reading through this forum, and I saw that you work in the PICU at Rady Children’s. I’m applying to Rady Children’s residency program soon for the PICU as my top choice. I did my preceptorship in the PICU and graduated with my BSN in Texas, but I moved back to Southern CA since I am from here. I also have my CA RN license. I wanted to ask... if I get selected for an interview, what advice would you have for me? I read your comment about incorporating the CARES values and mission statement into my answers, and it makes sense! Any other advice would be greatly appreciated! Becoming a PICU nurse is my dream job. Please feel free to private message me. Thank you so much ?
  2. Did the medical unit manager call you about the offer rather than HR calling you?
  3. My interview was last Thursday. I feel like they would have called by now. I don’t think I got it. ?
  4. Not that I’m aware of. Do you know if they call you or email you for an offer?
  5. Do you know if they’ll let us know by email or phone call? I know that they notify you by email if you didn’t get a job offer, but I was wondering if they also email you if you did get a job offer.
  6. Are we supposed to know by the end of this week whether we got a job offer or not?
  7. I have mine on Thursday, so I am nervous, but excited as well. I hope you got the position Izamo!
  8. That is exciting! I hope your interview went well.
  9. Congrats!! That is SO exciting. ? I wish you well in being a NICU nurse! As someone who was a 30 weeker premmie and born at 1 lb / 3 oz, my mother and I appreciated the NICU nurses who made it feel like home.
  10. I also got an email for an interview for the CVICU!
  11. Hi everyone! I applied to the RN residency position in the CVICU. I am hoping we all get interviews at least!
