Hi fellow nurses! I am Sherry and I applied to the CHOC fellowship for multi specialty area recently & was just wondering if anyone else has applied for it too?
i graduated in May 2017 so technically I’m not considered a new grad, but I’ve never actually worked in an acute care as a RN, only outpatient. so technically I’m a stale new grad? it’s super difficult to make it in the hospital w/o acute care experience, so I decided to apply to the fellowship!
wondering if anyone is on the same boat?
Did anyone send their resume to the CHOC Residency or Fellowship Program as a docx? I’m unable to open the document (my resume) when I go to view my application!! I’m so afraid they weren’t able to access my resume! I called HR but only got a voicemail recording and had to leave a message.

Congrats!! That is SO exciting. ? I wish you well in being a NICU nurse! As someone who was a 30 weeker premmie and born at 1 lb / 3 oz, my mother and I appreciated the NICU nurses who made it feel like home.
