Hi everyone! I thought I would start a thread for CHOC Children's RN Residency that is starting in August 2020. I'm super excited to be applying to the NICU!

Fingers crossed for some good news in the coming months!

Hi everyone! I applied to the NICU fellowship program! I applied last round to multi-specialty, but did not get in, hopefully I will get it this time. Best of luck to everyone!

Applied to ER last cohort 11 students from my school got into the new grad program fingers crossed its similar this term! good luck everyone!

Anyone else apply to CVICU?

I feel pretty hopeless as far as pediatrics applications go - my school only offered us a pediatric daycare (1 RN on staff/day) for our peds rotation and only 2 days in NICU. Only a couple students got L&D/NICU for preceptorship and got cut off after 2 days, everyone else got adult rotations. PEDs is what I want to do but I feel like I am at such a disadvantage.

Just for clarification, does everyone's status say "under consideration"? Mine has had that status since I submitted it. Some of these systems don't say that until the apps have been reviewed but you never know haha

I did and I got an interview but they retracted it saying they filled the position
