Hi! I know the application for CHLA's RN Residency Program doesn't come out until March 2nd, 2020, but I just wanted to get a heads start!

I'm planning on applying for their NICCU and was curious if anyone knew what the prescreen interview would consist of?

This happened to me as well and I am a December graduate... curious how you are planning on staying fresh during this long wait to test. Pretty much my entire cohort has tested already and I'm feeling a little lost/left behind. Any tips?

So I am new graduate in May, but I have heard a lot of people recommend Uworld as a question bank to help. It might be a great source to stay fresh and see what your weak points are.

UWorld is good - has the same format as NCLEX

Also, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mark Klimek for material review/test-taking tips!!!

What state are you in? Or is this for the whole country??? All the way backed up into July??? I don’t graduate till mid May and it’s nerve wrecking how backed up NCLEX might be when I am finally able to register for the NCLEX.

I had my NCLEX scheduleDfor 2 weeks from now, but it got cancelled. I luckily found an open spot in SD to test (I live in LA) last Thursday. Besides that, there were no dates until end of July. Once you are cleared to schedule your test just be checking every day, people cancel or change their dates all the time. Dates open up and you can change your test date up to 24 hours before your test.

anyone hear anything yet ?

A friend of mine is an internal applicant and he has an interview scheduled for next week. I think the floors that take external applications will take a bit longer to sort through the numerous applicants and schedule interviews. So probably in the next 2 weeks I would think. It’s a slow process.

Nope, haven’t heard anything. ER is probably the most behind with all this COVID stuff.
