Hello friends! This thread is for everyone applying to CHLA's RN Residency Program starting in March 2020. Hopefully we can keep each other posted on the application process, interviews and whatever else. I'm trying to apply to their NICCU! What about you?

I just received my rejection email today as well </3

I applied to the PICU and haven't gotten a rejection or interview email yet. Anyone else in the same boat? ?

I’m in the same boat for Heart Institute. Has ANYONE heard anything from Heart?

My friend got a PICU invite last week! So they'll probably send rejection emails soon.

I got my "thank you" email from 6E on Tuesday ?

I'm in the same boat as you @radnurse101 ! I know that a few people got PICU interview calls, but I'm hoping they are still making calls!! Fingers crossed

I applied for Heart Institute and have not heard anything yet! Crossing my fingers

Any more updates? Anyone heard from heme/onc 4e?

I haven’t heard from the unit yet, no call or rejection email?‍♀️

Just outta curiosity, because I've been hearing an array of answers... does anyone know what the starting salary is for CHLA new grads?

Has anyone gotten any offers for any units yet?

@sergento I’ve heard so many different salaries too! I’ve heard new grads start at $39 and then after 6 months you get a raise but I’m not sure how true that is. I wish I knew a for sure answer!

I interviewed on the NICCU last week and unfortunately got an email that I did not get the position. So if you’ve interviewed and not gotten a rejection email yet, that’s probably a good sign lol! Good luck!
