I just was wondering how many out there have read this book. I just started reading this book and it just pushes me to keep on keepin' on.....
Anyone else out there who shares this hearfelt book? The stories are bringing non-stop tears to my eyes!! I suppose it doesn't help with my pregnancy hormones either, I cry at commercials, but nonetheless, it seems to be a very good book so far.
Thought I would suggest it for anyone who has been nursing for a while or is studying to be a nurse.
I still have my A&P classes and then I start my nursing courses.
thanks for reading

I own it. It was very touching! I cried at several parts, and I wasn't pregnant when I read it. :)

My mom got me this book for Christmas. I had not looked at it until 4:00 this morning. I couldn't sleep. When I got up I decided to check it out. I spent an hour reading stories and crying on the couch. And I don't usually cry over a book.

I've also read it. It is very heart felt isn't it? It makes you remember why we are nurses despite all the BS; it's b/c every once in awhile there will be a patient or family that we will help or touch in some special way that they will always remember or a pt/family that will touch us in some special way:)

I have this book, but have not started reading it yet. You have peaked my interest, however. I have read other Chicken Soup books and have found them very heartwarming

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, read the poem on page 64 to our graduating class...just to remind them about what it means to be a nurse...in my opinion, anyway!!!!!!!!!!

I read it! Thought it was so good I gave it to another nurse. I asked that nurse to give it to another when they were done. :-)
