I just was wondering how many out there have read this book. I just started reading this book and it just pushes me to keep on keepin' on.....
Anyone else out there who shares this hearfelt book? The stories are bringing non-stop tears to my eyes!! I suppose it doesn't help with my pregnancy hormones either, I cry at commercials, but nonetheless, it seems to be a very good book so far.
Thought I would suggest it for anyone who has been nursing for a while or is studying to be a nurse.
I still have my A&P classes and then I start my nursing courses.
I was never into the chicken soup books, but bought this one right after I came out. Loved it, cried through much of it. After reading this thread, decided to pick it up again last night, and yup, needed the hankies. It's kind of bittersweet as I've just started o desk job in my homecare agency....for various personal reasons.....but I will miss the patients.......and know that someday, I will go back.
LOVE Chicken Soup for the Nurse's Soul. Very inspiring. Also, Chicken Soup for the Couple's Soul is very good, too. I used to read stories from that one aloud to my cheerleading buddies on the ride to out of town games....
I love this book, I cried for several stories as well. I have the first 5 in the original series, Chicken soup for the pet lovers soul and Christian soul.
