Who else is taking Chemisrty this semester? I thought maybe we can check in with each other, and help each other out.

If there is enough of us maybe we can even get a sticky.

I am taking Health Science Chemistry 1.

Well it is getting a littel easier to figure out now. We break things down by their group and then give them the full name of the compound. So these have been Isomers. I am glad I do not have to learn quantum numbers. That looks very spooky to me, lol. Even more confusing than what I am learning now.

I doubt we went into depth with Quantum numbers, but it really isn't hard at all. Actually, we had to fill out a couple of tables & answer a few questions on quantum numbers for our bonus question. I hope I knew what I was doing well enough.

Well we had our first test which was on Friday and we got the results today and I got a 96!! I was really shocked actually but sooo happy!! I sure hope I keep these grades up! Chemistry is such a confusing class. How is everyone else doing? I hope everyone is doing good!!! :)

So far, so good, for myself.

We got our results back for our third exam today, and our mid-semester averages.

I made a 95 on my 3rd test, and I have a 98.65 mid-semester average!

We have 5 more classes, which equals out to: 4 more lectures, 3 more labs, 2 more tests, & 1 presentation. (Actually, mine & 1 other group did two labs today, so we only have 2 more labs left. Wednesday, we'll work on our presentation during lab time.)

I really hope everyone is surviving. I hope I keep my A average. That would be such a SHOCKER!!!!

I just got my second test today 93% class average was 76%. So I'm feeling rather proud. I REALLY want an A in this class, but if things get a lot harder, I know it might not be a possibility.

I also really need to start putting more work into A&P that class is REALLY kicking my butt.

Congrats!! That is great!! Our class average was a 70. He told us that before we got our test results so quite a few of us were freaking out! lol Good luck with A&P!

1st: 74.89

2nd: 74.38

3rd: 72.25

Hello all! Just wanted to check in and say hi! Glad to hear everyone is doing well! I am so sick of Chem and just want it to be over!! :chuckle

We moved onto that Stociometry(I know I spelled it wrong). I rememeber you talking about it Fun2Care. Looks very confusing! I have to go over my notes and homework and see if I am following. Our next test is on Wednesday. Not looking forward to that at all! It's on Nomenclature and all that fun stuff! I would love to get a B in the class! Let's pray for a miracle! :rotfl:
