Can I join too :) I'm taking Fundamentals of Chemisty... I think it's a comprehensive chem. (general, organic, and biological chem) course specificly for nursing/medical students here at my CC. Math is not my friend, so I'd love any tips you may have for remembering conversions and calculations.

Is anyone taking Organic Chem? Yesterday was my first day. Not bad. So glad I recently took Gen Chem else I wouldn't of had a clue as to what she was talking about. We're breaking in a brand new lab at school so it's nice to have all clean materials. :rolleyes: I can always try to answer any Gen Chem questions. Just let me know...

first class/lab of chm110, fundalmentals of chemistry was last night and i loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my prof. dr. "g" is so awesome, i can't wait till monday when i have class again. yesterday we performed out very first experiment, the bunsen burner. i never would have thought that i would be extatic over a bunsen burner, but hey this is my first chm class ever and boy i am.

did anyone else have class, how'd it go???????????

Add me to the list too :) I'm taking Introductory Chemistry on T & TH. We had our 1st lab today. It was called CSI Investigation. A murder occured and there was a white substance found under the body. We were given 5 suspects & had to solve for the murderer. Kinda interesting.

You're lucky, becuase It's been 8 years since I took general chemistry. But luckily I don't have to remember much from that class and I did review over break.

I'm in my second week of O-Chem. And next week will be our first real quiz. Oh yeah, and I have my first Pharm test and I'm taking the NET test. No pressure.:uhoh21:

I would have loved that class! I'm thinking about forensic nursing..but I don't know much about it.

I can say this: I f&%@*^# hate chemistry... 2 weeks in a its such a pain already.. so much to the point that I just want to drop it the class, drop out of school and forget about being a nurse... what to do..what to do??

I just feel that the crap that I'm learning right now (Kinetic Rates) has not a damn thing to do with nursing.. why do they require this class??? :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire

breathe, breathe.. haha as you can tell, i'm not doing so well. Any advice on how to hang on and get thru this 2nd semester? Any good websites on where to learn this crap? anything?

I really need a prayer to keep it together this semster...
