thanks alot for starting this thread!! I am in your same situation , but i can apply in a month for the rt program and i hear it has no wait. Im thinking i could always go into nursing after i finish the rt program, since i never plan to stop going to anymore. maybe you can answer me some questions later since you are already in the program. thank you

I AM THINKING OF GOING INTO THE RT PROGRAM CAUSE THE WAIT FOR THE NURSING PROGRAM IS UP TO TWO YEARS AT MY SCHOOL. ON THE OTHER HAND THE RT PROGRAM HAS NO WAIT. I WOULD LOVE TO GET INTO EITHER PROGRAM BUT AS I SAW HERE, IF I GET BURNED OUT I WILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO MOVE INTO SOMETHING ELSE, LIKE NURSING. AND OF COURSE NURSING PAYS BETTER EVEN THOUGH THAT'S NOT ALL IM LOOKING FOR

maybe it's a way for schools to get rid of so many applicants. hahaha!!!!!

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING. I TOOK CHEMISTRY IN HIGH SCHOOL AND I WOULD THINK THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH BUT MY SCHOOL DOESN'T COUNT HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY OR BIOLOGY ANYMORE. OH WELL

I Am Taking A Winter Course In Chemistry 101 Wich Is An Introductory Course. It Is A Requirement To Get Into Anatomy , Micro And Physiology At My School. I Have An 82% As Of Right Now With Two More Tests To Go And A Lab Test. Seriously I Don't Know How I Am Getting A B Cause I Guessed On Most Of My Answers For The Last Test And I Managed To Do Ok. But Im Wondering How Important Chemistry Is For Nursing Other Than It Being A Requirement For My Other Biological Sciences.

yesterday i was feeling sick so i tool my blood pressure reading with a wrist reader. my reading was 148/97 pulse 110. Is that really bad?? i had a few beers before that. maybe 4 0r 5 . does beer elevate b/p?? i could feel my heart beat by placing my hand on my chest. i was scared
