I knew you made it from #20 to #5 based on last years blog but didn't know they went through 19. That's s crazy. I noticed a lot of people that got accepted or retook the exam and got accepted then declined their spot. I'm sure your in this year with your 85, alt points.

I know! It was crazy how many got in! They let the first 5 go to the classes for the first week and at that time there was only 19 and me left. 19 ended up getting a seat because someone dropped the following week. But man, it was hard because everything is on elearn for the actual nursing students so us alternates were in the dark for everything, plus they had an exam that next monday. I felt so bad for 19. She was so stressed out. But she is making it.

I had i think 13 points missing all together last year and got a alternate spot, so anyone in that range has a good chance

@rlargen2 do you know how many points the 19th alternate person was missing? What are your thoughts on how big of a difference their will be in the scores from last year to this year, since those taking the Kaplan this year aren't able to retake it.

Im not sure how many points she got. I remember her telling me she had a C in her computer class but thats all i remember.

I do think its going to be very different this year than from last year, because we got to take the test 2x within a week apart from each other. We all did way better the second time. I mean i had a 82 or 81 i think or something like that and got an alternate spot and that was after we all took it twice. I know the average the first time we all took it was low to mid 70s.

Yeah i have full points this time. Last year applying i had a B in psych but i retook it this year and got a A.

I'm just going according to last years blog, scores should be uploaded around the 24th and everyone started finding out around May 4th.
I interview with OHSU Monmouth on Monday at 1pm.

Mine is at 1pm too! So we will be in the same group :) good luck!

well that clarifies if we are having group interviews or not, I feel like their information within the email was really vague.

I hate shopping and went the other day. I was recommended Maurice's and if all else fails Nordstroms...because they will do the work for me. I found something at Maurice's and called it quits. If it was only acceptable to go to an interview in yoga pants :laugh:

It made it sound like we will not be in group interview, but we will be having one on one interviews with different faculty members. I was a bit confused as to what the essay portion was about. What I gathered is that we will be given a scenario and have to reply with what we would do.

This is what I gathered from the email too. I like the idea of one on one over the group deal haha I'm sure all will be fine!! Just be yourself and kill it!:))
