Chemeketa 2017 RN entrance

Anyone else applying for the 2017 entrance? I'm taking CHEM 110 and BIO231 this fall, and hoping to take BI 232, 233, PSY 201 and CIS 101 this winter before applying. I already have a bachelors degree which should cover the other pre-reqs. Do you basically have to have a perfect score to get in? Does anyone know more about it? Their information is so lacking!

I got word that they should be sending an email out to re-scheduale from someone that heard back from them.

Me too! I was really excited to finally get it done!! Ugh now we have to wait. Probably next friday is what im guessing. More time to study, i guess

I just got an email from the Health Sciences department. New exam dates are: Tuesday April 11th 2pm, Thursday April 13th 5pm, and Friday April 14th 9am. Need to reply to email with which day you want to do it. I chose April 11th.

Just finished the exam. I scored 85% overall. Of course, writing was my worst this time. I really do not like the writing part.

Take your time with it. I rushed through the writing thinking i needed to hurry.

Took the test just now and got an 81%...That seems so borderline which is freaking me out!

Joining the conversation. :) Just finished taking the exam and got a 77%. That seems low after reading this thread, but hoping for the best. The writing section was definitely the worst. Felt totally confident with my answers and ended up being my worst score. Ay ay aii. Good luck everyone!

I think that the scores from this year that get people in will be much different than last year, as we cannot take the test a second time. Many people last year that took the test a second time scored higher, but still a lot of people with 81 got in.

But its so hard to say since acceptance is so heavily weighted on the exam, especially with microbiology not being counted in the points. Only a few more weeks until we find out!

That's exactly what I was thinking. Did you find out a timeframe of when we will find out?? I got an 84

Also, anyone interviewing with OHSU Monmouth? Mine is on Monday eek!
