Hi All,

I just wanted to see how everyone else was doing in A&P 1 this summer? I'm doing ok. I'm not sure about all of you, but her essay questions on the test sometimes throw me for a loop:uhoh3: Oh, well. I have a 93% average right now, but boy am I working for it:)

Talk to you soon,

Marci

I know exactly what you guys mean, this last one was awful. I had my midterms due last week in my other classes and then there was the fourth of July. I'm not expecting to pass week 8's test or quiz. I can't wait to be done, I'm really considering the shorter semester A&PII in the fall, it will be a lot of work, but at least it won't drag on like this.

BTW, I had NO idea there were two chapters this week..rofl...how in the %*## did I miss this? ok my mind has taken a vacation without me.

stressed out in lala land...:paw: :paw: :paw:

I know what you mean about the two chapters this week. However, atleast it will put us closer to the end;)

Awwww cr*p! I didn't realize we had to do two chapters this week until I read your post Lanner. Ok so I guess I am not going anywhere or doing anything except schoolwork this week. I better get started like right now.

Glad I'm not the only one that missed that!! Hey, I didn't really have anytime to study last week except for before the test, and managed to get a "B" :D I think it's better when it's fresh in my memory and when I don't overdo it by learning too much info. at once. Well, good luck this week, we can do it!

I can't believe I got an A on the quiz and B on the test. Thank Goodness, because this week is gonna be scary.

OMG ...... (2) 90 minute test, (2) 30 min quizzes, (6) threaded discussions, double virtual labs and (2 )chapter reviews to complete. It's Wednesday and I am so overwhelmed just thinking about all the work I have ahead of me. :o

Now that we are 1/2 way through the week. How are y'all doing? How are you pacing yourselves?

I am not a happy camper at all. As I type this I have another window minimized with the textbook questions for this week. I am also trying to post something at least half-way decent to the threaded discussion for unit 10. The question for unit 9 wasn't so bad but I have only skimmed chapter 9 so I haven't been able to put together a coherent response yet. It doesn't help that DH is asleep on the bed and I am tempted to close this darned book and join him!

I have always loved biology (took three semester of general bio classes in undergrad) but I have to admit that I don't feel so keen about A&P. It's just way TMI to learn in such a short amount of time. Ah well, I am sure everyone has had enough of my whining. Time to suck it up and get back to the grind.

Hey, don't worry I am feeling the same way. It will be a miracle if I get this weeks work done, my other classes are ending much sooner and I already have finals to work on. I'm really not liking this class right now, but I guess I asked for it! Tonight and tomorrow I will be swamped with A&P, it's really embarrasing how little I have done. OK, I'm done whining too! lol. :chuckle

OK, my turn!! :uhoh3: Now, it's Thursday and I have made so little lead way. I am going to pull an all nighter tonight, which is super hard at 8 months pregnant. I need to get all the busy work done TONIGHT!!! Chapter reviews, webliographies, discussions and labs. Then I HAVE to take at least one test tomorrow. If not Saturday will be hell.

I am so overwhelmed!!! With 2 kids, pregnancy and 2 other classes.... this week might put me over or should I say in the Ku Ku(s) nest.

OK, I am done whining too!!!

I am a little over 8 months pregnant too so I feel your pain. Sitting in this chair in front of the computer is a form of torture after an hour or two. I got started yesterday and so far I have done my webliography, threaded discussion and the lab for unit 9. I am working on the lab for unit 10 right now and it's a long one! The beyond AIA questions are kind of tough for this lab. I will likely pull an all nighter too because after I finish the lab I want to get on the questions so that I can have a day of study tomorrow and hopefully do the unit 9 test and quiz then do the unit 10 test and quiz on Sat.

Whew! :uhoh3: The thing is that I think we are going to have to double up on chapters at least once more if not twice in order to be finished by the week of the 4th. I am just hoping to NOT go into labor before then or I will be majorily screwed.

Feel better Dakeels I am only taking this class right now so I don't know how you are doing it all. Hopefully when we are finished and we get our grades it will all be worth it.

Thanks Falon!! I think you are right we will have to double up at least one more time. wow... I can't imagine doing this in 5 weeks. I think they do 2 chapters a week, but I don't think they have much if any busy work. It probably wouldn't be as bad if we only had to do a test, but I must admit the "guaranteed" points help a lot.

Good Luck with your all nighter... I am yawning already :-)

Ahhh! I just (finally) finished the last of the work for this week for Unit 10. Thank goodness there is only 5 units to go.

Anyway, I found this link and I wanted to share it with all of you. It really helps with all the words we are constantly looking up for our lab work.
