Is there anyone else applying to Charity SON for Fall of 2015 (RN)? LOL, everything is so quiet. I thought I'd go ahead and start a thread so we can give help and support. Good luck, everyone!
I applied to CSON for Fall 2015 also. I did not apply anywhere else. I think I had a decent profile score, but I'm nervous that they may calculate it wrong, as I've heard horror stories of this happening It sucks playing the waiting game! I saw on some threads that people from Fall 2014 got their acceptance letters mid March, so I'm hoping we find out in March too or sooner, and it'd be nice if there weren't that many applicants as well lol. Good luck to everyone!
Also, those of you applying to both LSU and Charity - be ready to make a decision. I applied to (and got accepted) to both last semester. I chose Charity for various reasons. But, just to let you know - LSU is slow as molasses. By the time I had received my acceptance letter from LSU all paperwork for admission had to be submitted to Charity. As far as clinical hours, both schools do the same amount because that is dictated by the board of nursing. Charity gives you a choice of clinicals whereas at LSU you are simply placed at a location and told when/where to show up.
Hey Everyone! I've been slightly stalking this thread for a little while and decided to finally leave a post! lol I also applied for this upcoming semester and I am sooo nervous! This will be my second time applying to Charity, my profile score is a 75 and I'm really hoping it's enough! Like everyone else the waiting is killing me but we will all know soon enough! Good Luck to everyone!!

hey, keylimesqueez, thanks for the info! I have also applied to both and have my interview with LSU coming up soon. So nervous! Could you tell us a bit more about why you chose Charity over LSU? I really want to go to Charity but I'm just worried about quickly landing a job after graduating, with all the scary talk about ASNs being less desirable.
If I calculated it right, I have a 80. Although, they may not accept one of my math classes, because it was Finite and not that other one they wanted besides Algebra. If they don't take the finite then my score is a 75. This is my first time applying. Also, I called today and the lady said letters weren't mailing out until the last day in March :/
