How about your profile score?

l got 80. Do you still take any classes or you are done with all pre-courses?

Yujiao, I did the same, I wanted to get it over with so I wouldn't obsess over it. This will be my second time applying, my first profile score was embarrassing. I really was doing it all last minute and didn't know any better, but it was a good trial run. I finished all my prereqs in the fall and graduated with an associates in general studies just so I could hopefully get more points on the profile score. The lady I turned my paperwork in to said I have an 85 but I am concerned that this degree won't be considered and I will have a 75 (which I think is still an decent score). I guess what I'm saying is that I don't know if I am 100% confident that this is the correct information. I guess we will find out soon!!! Last year I applied in August and received my bad news letter in mid-October I believe. So maybe in March we will find out??? Wishing everyone the best of luck!!!!! My email is [email protected]

Hello, Susan, take it easy. You will be alright! The woman from charity told me the cutoff score from spring was 65. She said if you are around 75, you should be safe unless there are much more people apply unusually. I think they still give 10 point for degree. So you do not have to worry too much! I am going to apply another nursing progrm in Canifornia, which requires TEAS test. So l am studying for another test. I live in Terrytown now. If you live close here, we might meet each other. I have an old edition nursing book which called Fundamentals of Nursing. We can look at together. Well, l like to plan everything early! Plus English is not my first language! So l need to spend some more time!

this will be my second time applying as well. I applied for Spring 2015 but was denied and after getting advising from Mrs. Thornton (admissions coordinator) I found out that they messed up my profile score. I was going in thinking that i had a 75, but they scored me as a 55. They gave me 0 points in the D's or F's on your CSN category, which i should have had 10 points because i didn't have any D's or F's. I was also unaware that that they took your most recent psychology not your best. I was wrongly advised at delgado years ago and was told to take psychology again to get into a higher level even though I had an A in the class from Nunez. I received a B the second go round and because of that, my GPA was 0.045 away from another 10points on my profile score. so now I'm at a 65 profile score. Im taking the HESI again tomorrow to try and go from a 86 to a 95 to hopefully put me back at a 75 profile score. I could have possible gotten in with a 65, so if you get denied make sure you ask to see your profile sheet!!!

I want to ask if we can check our profile score before they send out the letters. So we will not be denied because of miscounting score.

I'm not sure if they will let you see your score before hand. It took me 2 months after getting denied to even get to meet with someone to see mine. I'll ask though when I turn in my application Monday.

Hey all, I put I my application yesterday! I'm worried though because I have withdrawals within the last 5 years, but they're from other schools and the classes don't even transfer to delgado so I don't know if they will count them or not. If they do then my profile score will be like a 65. The lady yesterday said letters will be going out around the end of April... that is SO long from now! I'm already anticipating it. Lol.
