Chabot College Fall 2020

Hello, I didn't see a thread for Fall 2020 applicants so I figured that I would start one. Deadline has passed and the e-mail has been sent to our zonemail that the responses will be out on 4/30/2020. Anyone else applying?!? ?

I am hoping the students waitlisted Get a notice ASAP. I don’t want to pay for fees and supplies and get a denial.

Just to make sure, for students that are on the waitlist we turn in our TEAS transcript after we got in right?

The email asks you to submit your results via the ATI website (just send to Chabot College) and only email the transcript if you’ve taken the test more than once. We should do these things in order to accept alternate status, not only if we get off the waitlist.

I hope the same! Also, I saw that you were accepted to Merritt’s program last year; did you end up deciding not to attend? I was accepted for this fall but I’ve only heard bad things about the school and I was wondering if you could offer any insight about it. Thanks!

AHHH! Sorry! I read the first question wrong! So Sorry! For students waitlisted: you HAVE TO submit your TEAS. Do NOT wait after acceptance. My apologies!! Hope this helps!

I was accepted, but declined. After careful review (from forums, grad rates, NCLEX pass rates, and speaking to previous students) it wasn’t the best fit for me. I hear negative things about the school which led me to decline. But there were other personal factors too. Hope this helps!! Good luck! ?

I just got an email from chabot, they say they will start notify us after May 22

Are you sure that we have to submit the TEAS even though they don’t call and offer the spot?

Yes, you must submit your TEAS results to confirm you want the spot as an alternate.
