  1. For Medicine, they stated call backs will be until June 30th. If candidates are not selected, an email will be sent out from HR.
  2. Hello! Yes, my answers were exactly under 2 minutes! From what I recall, this was a very important point they stated and restated multiple times. I had the rest of the other interview candidates ramble on and it got really exhausting (even for myself). Tips/what I did to prep: PRACTICE! Practice with someone who can help you stay under 2 min. And the key was DO NOT ramble on about your story! Set the scene very quickly and move on to "your solution, what YOU did, and the outcome.” They don't need to know exact details about your assessment or what the problem was. Just set the scene with pertinent info and move on! Hope this helps!
  3. Hello! I received a call back this morning from Medicine AAU. I have not yet taken my NCLEX and I plan to take it near the deadline. Im really pushing it close, but it was my original date to take it by end of/ near July 30th. In the interview info session, I also recall a manager stating they would prefer it to be July 28th. Hope this helps! Good lucK to those who received a 2nd interview. And for those who didn't, don't give up, try again!
  4. Hello, Would anyone happen to know what specialties are "Observation and Outpatient Observation?" Is it clinical trials? Thank you.
  5. I chose clinical trials (I believe it is research LOL) and have not yet heard back. I Still have some hope! LOL
  6. Hello, I was curious if new grad nurses need to have a license in hand to apply? I was receiving conflicting info from some that you don't need to have a license to apply and it can be "in progress." But when I went on the website, it stated otherwise. TIA!
  7. Thank you! This was helpful! I wonder if Spring students can continue in Fall 2021? I hope they just don’t throw us out! ?
  8. Hi Everyone, I emailed Ohlone on Thursday and got a response yesterday and this is what she wrote to me: We are not asking you to do anything at this time, because we don’t have any new information at this time because of COVID-19. I don’t have a date for you at this time and neither does the program director, until she gives the go ahead on how we are moving forward. Thank you @genesiee for your information. It is very similar to what Ohlone sent to me. We are just going to have to wait. Thank you again, and please let us know if anything changes.
  9. Thank you for your update. I’m going to wait till mid week and if I don’t hear anything I’m gonna take my chances and email them. It’s getting too close to January and we have a lot to do and with the holidays, people won’t be working as much and things may be even more delayed. I will update the forum once I hear something.
  10. Hi Everyone, Has anyone from Spring 2021 waitlist received a call or email about their acceptance? I am curious to know where they are at in the process? Patiently waiting is so torturous.
  11. YIKES! Now I am getting nervous.....has anyone in the Spring 2021 cohort received an email regarding Compilo? I think they are probably really busy. Did they email you the instructions for Complio along with the intent to enroll email? When I received my intent to enroll email, the only instructions were to fill out the form and send it back. Thank you again for helping and keeping us informed ?
  12. Oh wow, we haven’t received any email regarding Complio. ? if anyone in Spring 2021 has received any email regarding Complio, can you please post it here. I’m getting nervous they haven’t sent any instructions on what to do next.
  13. Hi Grace, Thank you so much for the tips and advice. That was so helpful! ? I wanted to know if there was a specific timeframe we needed to get the physical and drug test and labwork completed. I completed my titers, PPD, and physical exam during Summer 2020, does Ohlone have any issues with the results being more than 6 months. I know some programs want bloodwork (I.e., titers and PPD) done within a 30-60 day timeframe. Thanks!!
  14. That would be awesome to join, LOL. Thank you for the tips, I will get my bloodwork and physical done and CPR.
  15. Hi Justin, I was also accepted in Spring 2021! Nice to meet you ? Any news yet on how we get our paperwork done (I.e., physical, bloodwork, drug test)? Also if there are any Fall 2020 students reading this thread still, can you please shed some light on how things are going right now for the Fall? Just feeling a little nervous due to the pandemic. Also, from the letter of intent to enroll, it sounds like school will be a little different this upcoming year. Thank you ?
