Chabot College Fall 2020

Hello, I didn't see a thread for Fall 2020 applicants so I figured that I would start one. Deadline has passed and the e-mail has been sent to our zonemail that the responses will be out on 4/30/2020. Anyone else applying?!? ?

I received this message -

"Although you have met the eligibility criteria, you were not selected from this year’s pool of applicants. There were 293 applications received this year. Of those who were qualified, 40 were selected and an additional 50 were selected as alternates. Unfortunately, your name was not selected for either. "

Guess it wasn't meant to be for me at Chabot this year ?.

I received an email notification this morning stating that I was not selected due to not meeting the communications requirement, however, I took and passed that requirement so this is an unfortunate situation... CONGRATULATIONS to those accepted/alternates and best of luck to those waiting! ?

Hey guys, I received the email this morning too. Unfortunately, I was not selected for admission nor the alternates list. I feel so bummed out hoping that I could have at least gotten on the waiting list ?. I’m looking forward to hear back from Ohlone since I was able to earn a bit more points on their application. And also CSM, Merritt, and CCSF. But CONGRATS to those of you that have gotten admitted or on the alternates list, wish you the best!

Hi all,

I was accepted into the program today, as well. Just curious to see if anyone that's been accepted is either thinking of making a facebook thread or another Allnurses thread. I was curious to see if there were any facebook groups from previous years, but the latest one I found was from 2018. I wanted to get a feel for how the current students feel about the program, but I couldn't find any threads for that either. I checked here on Allnurses, facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Anyway, congratulations to everyone that was accepted!
