CGFNS waiting for approval help!

Published

Hi! Since November 2017 my status of CES on CGFNS says ready for review-issued report-waiting for approval.

What does this mean? I am waiting for more than 12 weeks!

Do I already have to contact my BON? Or do I have to wait until CGFNS sends the report and will I hear from the BON??

Thank you!!

Hi there. I am having the exact same problem. I applied for CES in October. My profile also says "ready for review" and "waiting for approval". I haven't heard anything at all.

Is this normal?

Hi! I contacted CGFNS several times by email; they say I have to wait 10-12 workweeks, next time they say it is 16 weeks... They work really slowly.

What state do you want to work in? Have you contacted the BON yet or do you wait until you hear something about your report?

Hi, there! Do you guys have to wait for the CES report to come out before you can actually apply for LVN exam?

I want to work in Washington State. I have not applied to the BON yet, because it is $120 and I don't want to waste my money if I don't get accepted. I was going to wait until CES is approved, then I am going to apply to BON.

CES got all my documents about 7 weeks ago (early January) so I guess if they are saying 16 weeks, is that from the time they receive all the documents? If so that means I could wait another 9 weeks!! That is ridiculous considering how much this whole process costs.

Yes, it can really take that long. Yes, it's from when they received all required documents. My personal opinion is that they want people to pay the expedite fee and make that as appealing as possible. We didn't pay it last time and regretted it, because the day we expected to receive results, we heard instead that the documents weren't complete and had been accepted in error. Next time our documents are all marked received, we're going to pay it.

To the person who's been waiting extra long--they're probably taking extra weeks off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, maybe New Year's.

The funny thing is, they are not even offering expedited service anymore. They have removed it from their site due to "circumstances" whatever those are. So they aren't doing this to try and get people to pay for expedited - they are just overwhelmed.

Until the state gives their approval you will not get the OK to sit NCLEX PN so part of the process is CES report then that needs to be seen and assessed by the BON

ready for review means you are in a queue which takes up 12weeks until they wont help you when you call your answer will be wait till 12weeks are up. Once the 12 weeks are up and you have not been sorted you can call them then with in a week they will review your file. if anything is not right or they need more documents or information from you your clock resets you go to the back of the queue again and have to wait for 12weeks even if you give the information they need in days you will have to wait like before process goes like that until they are satisfied with your application. anything wrong, missing , additions adds another 12weeks to your application. simple analysis recently completed the process.

Hi I purchased the Expedited review for my Ces report in CGFNS and they said 10 working days to process my report. And it's been 15 days now and keep calling the customer service they give different answers. Really confused with them. They want me to purchase the expedite but after I payed them they told me that the evaluator has not yet reviewing my case because they have ro wait for my case to be put in their system. I waited for 2 months for this! Anyone has recent experience in their expedite ces report???

Hi Nikuy,

the CGFNS got all my documents today... I am thinking of paying for the expedited review... How did it end up going for you?

Hi! They got mine last August 6, too. May I know if you purchased the expedited review? Im thinking of getting it too, but it's so expensive :/
