CEP Feb. Applicants

Published

Hi all! Anyone else applying for the CEP program through Maricopa Community College during this upcoming application cycle? I'm applying for the GCC/NAU program and was curious if anyone else is applying this semester as well. I'm hoping I make the cutoff - the program is becoming really popular really fast!

I think it was a good idea to get that, I wish I would have done that. Sounds like it was worth the extra dollars.

I did not have any financial aid awarded yet!

Make sure you go into the financial aid area on Louie and accept your money. They don't pay out anything until that is done.

I've decided I'm taking out my max subsidized loan amount. It feels like there is so much stuff to pay for before school starts (books, uniforms, shoes, vaccinations)! I don't want to stress about paying for it all! But boy do I hate racking up these school loans!:nailbiting:

I think that's what my plan is going to be too. Use it to pay for everything I need this summer and save what's left to help with the Maricopa class payments in the Fall and books and whatnot.

I have not received financial aid info yet:( did u get an email?

I didn't. I am emailing the FA lady to find out when GCC CEP students will get their awards

The email was from NAU, in my NAU email account. Maricopa won't be handling any of our financial aid. Sorry for the confusion. :/

I'm still waiting for some kind of packet from Gateway they are still in the process of placing people. I'm doing the same, taking out loans to. I feel like there is so much that we will need for next semester.

If anyone hasn't got this it is for scholarship application for NAU.

Connection:Transferring to NAU

Has anyone here had to do a Direct Loan deferment? I got a notice last night that they are going to start billing me in three months. I printed out the loan deferment form but it says I have to have an "authorized official" fill out the bottom part of the form. Who is the "authorized official"...the financial aid department? This crap is so confusing!!

Hi there!

I am starting CHM 130 in a week through Rio (and also taking a few other prereqs this summer), but CHM 130 is all I need to apply to the RN program. Question... so if I finish CHM 130 by July and take the HESI this summer as well and I meet all the other requirements I then apply to the regular RN program at that time to get in the nursing pool, correct? I will then finish a few more prereqs by Nov 2014 and will then meet all the NAU CEP requirements, so then in Feb 2015 I apply to the CEP correct?

Any advice as far as the HESI A2? Is it just math and English? If you already have a B.S. and an M.Ed. would be it be fairly easy?? :)

Thanks!!

Sorry if I bombard with questions... I feel like this process is so confusing at times! Take this, apply for this by this date, then apply to this by this date but don't do this by then.. OMG! Keeping me on my toes for sure!
