The other day I was on the cedars-sinai website looking at jobs when I noticed they had posted a new grad program job listing. I applied and received an e-mail confirming my application. I went on today to check my status and it said I never applied to the job... then when I checked for the listing, it was also gone! Does anyone know what happened? Did they cancel the program or something?
I'm slightly confused...
Hi Bebe1Mee,
I was feeling the same as you. When I read the first few lines of the email, I was very excited UNTIL I read the gpa requirement! They should have mentioned that from the beginning. Have you decided what you are going to do? Let me know if you get in touch or have any updates about the process.
I am from out of state so they are doing an initial phone interview before making us travel to cali. It says "Since you are out of the Los Angeles and Orange County area, a phone interview will be conducted. To be able to reserve a phone interview appointment, you must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.5. If you meet this requirement, please email ___________"

I live in San Francisco Bay Area. yeah, I checked again, they did not mention the telephone interview. So I assume that everyone's email is slightly different depends on individual situation. Thanks for your response.:)

That's odd. I'm in the SF Bay Area, too, and was offered a phone interview. In the e-mail I sent, I said that I'd be happy to travel for an in-person interview, if that's easier for them.

I'm from the bay area too and I got an email to set up a phone interview...northbay, i like how you offered to come down regardless. let me know their response to that :) good thinking!
don't know exactly. but the email I got stated that I would get a phone interview, and if selected to continue, an in person interview.
Thank you! Congratulations on your e-mail! I hope I get one soon as well!! Seems like it may be a long process but I hope there are a lot of positions for all of us. :)

Just got an e-mail!
It says there are at least two phases - a phone interview, then an in-person interview where you need to bring a portfolio. I assume there's another phase where you meet the nurse manager of the unit and get a tour and whatnot, but I don't know for sure.
YAY.
