Hi Westmidwest, I am sorry to hear that UCSF did not work out for you. I too felt that my interview went well, and am supposed to hear back by the end of this week (which is tomorrow). The wait is killing me but now i'm wondering if they already contacted the people who they will hire since soldieroflove already got a call and she interviewed for the same unit. Would you mind sharing which unit you interviewed on? You have to keep your head high and know that there is something out that that is for you

I will let you know. I am starting to feel anxious now b/c they still have not contacted me regarding their decision. I figured if they called you to tell you the good news, then they must have also called the other 2 people who were hired as well...don't you think? Was it the manger of the unit who called or was it HR? Thanks!

Hey there! I did get an email and have been invited to a panel interview for next week. I also talked to another friend of a friend who just had her panel interview a few days ago. They told her they would contact her within a week to let her know about their decision. According to the email I got, it seems like the unit that is interviewing me has already contacted all the applicants that they want to call for an interview and they will spend one day interviewing people. Has anybody else had any luck with getting an interview at UCSF? If so, can you share your experience?

Hey icuuci, I received the email a few days ago on June 2nd. According to an earlier post on this thread, ucsf is supposed to contact applications in early June. Hopefully, u will get an email too.

Has anybody gotten an interview at UCSF? I got an email asking me to come in for a panel interview? I am happy i got an interview, but nervous b/c it's intimidating. I do not know what to expect. Does anybody know what types of questions they ask (patient scenarios, personality q's) etc. Thanks!

Hi Bebe1Mee, I was feeling the same as you. When I read the first few lines of the email, I was very excited UNTIL I read the gpa requirement! They should have mentioned that from the beginning. Have you decided what you are going to do? Let me know if you get in touch or have any updates about the process.

No, I have not heard from Sharp yet either. I guess it is a waiting game until April 19...i HATE waiting. It's so annoying that you have to apply like 5-6 months in advance for a position and then basically wait until you hear from HR. Anyways, good luck to everybody! we WILL get a job sooner or later :)

Hey! 5 weeks is a really long time. I dont' think it should take that long. I had to retake my nclex and had resubmitted alll of my paperwork. I kept waiting and waiting for my ATT and they never mailed me anything. Finally after like 4-5 weeks, I called. The lady who handled my call, informed me that somebody at the BON never marked my application as complete...even though they had my complete file! Once I talked to her, I got my ATT emailed to me in a few days! So...you should call them b/c maybe the same thing happened to your file. Maybe try calling early in the morning when they open, like around 9-10am. I'm pretty sure they are bombarded right now b/c of all the march new grads. Oh and BON is closed for most Friday's b/c of the furlow day (budget cut). Ok well hope this helps! good luck with the permit :)
