Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program???

The other day I was on the cedars-sinai website looking at jobs when I noticed they had posted a new grad program job listing. I applied and received an e-mail confirming my application. I went on today to check my status and it said I never applied to the job... then when I checked for the listing, it was also gone! Does anyone know what happened? Did they cancel the program or something?

I'm slightly confused...

I GOT AN E-MAIL TODAY...AND SAID I WAS SELECTED TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF INTERVIEW. i WAS EXCITED UNTIL MY BUBBLE POPPED WHEN I SAW THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR GPA IS 3.5.

I ONLY HAVE A 3.0...TOO BAD.

Maybe i got the letter because i already work for the hospital...but not good enough.

i don't know if location has anything to do with it...im across the country from cali...east coast ny... so i really don't know what they are looking for but i did get an email.

I got the invitation email today. I saw that they wanted the original copy of your recommendation letter from clinical instructors. Can we let them keep a copy and bring the original one? and what is community service certificate?

I got an email today and I am not a local! Graduated June 2009 and have my BSN, RN, BLS, and ACLS. I wish that they didn't require letter of recommendations from clinical instructors only. I have a good recommendation from a professor, and I hope that I can include that in the portfolio anyway. I think a community service certificate is something official documenting the number of service hours you committed, but I'm not sure.

Once I called the HR, they said that they will choose qualified or the best candidates all around the country. I do not think it really matters about the location, but do not know who they are looking for.

I got the same email. I'm assuming we can't interview at all since we don't have the minimum gpa. I only have a 3.2. The email specifically states you can schedule a phone interview IF you meet that minimum GPA requirement (since I'm in the Bay Area, I would schedule a phone interview first and if I get selected to continue, I would do the in-person interview).

I wish they would have stated on their site that you must have a 3.5 GPA, I didn't see this. Did anyone else? Was I blind when I was applying?

It's a bummer bc I know some of us were waiting for the email and once we got it, we couldn't participate anyways :(

don't know exactly. but the email I got stated that I would get a phone interview, and if selected to continue, an in person interview.
