Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program???

The other day I was on the cedars-sinai website looking at jobs when I noticed they had posted a new grad program job listing. I applied and received an e-mail confirming my application. I went on today to check my status and it said I never applied to the job... then when I checked for the listing, it was also gone! Does anyone know what happened? Did they cancel the program or something?

I'm slightly confused...

Nope. Ugh. Neither have the other fifteenish people from my school who applied, though, so maybe the invitation wasn't sent out today...

I am so depressed about this...I currently work at Cedars and everyone kept saying I have a chance. I guess not...I work in the lab part of the hospital so I do not know any managers that I can talk to in the nursing units. I am also very timid and could not sell myself.

I wonder if the e-mails were just going to be sent today? or are they going to start sending today and for a few days?

I'll call HR on Monday and find out...

i agree that the e-mails may not have been sent out. surely ONE of us would have heard, right?

GPA requirement.. All of undergrad or just nursing classes GPA????

i know people that heard today about "first step"interviews. idk how many they take to continue interviews after all that apply?

i got an email today! yey! moving on to the first phase of the interview process! The email said they will consider people with GPA of 3.5 and up! good luck to all those who got emails! :)

you guys who got emails... are you already licensed as RNs? or are you graduating this May?

Congratulations! I don't think my GPA was that high, so I won't expect to get an e-mail.

I am already licensed and to P6228, I would still reply back if you got the email, you'll just never know. You wouldn't lose anything if you reply back. Good Luck!
