2014 CCP Nursing Program

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

I figured I would start this topic to lower my anxiety just a little. I took the health allied test today and I have to wait till next week to get my scores. I really feel like im on pins and needles right now and I know I'll be a nervous wreck when I actually wait for my acceptance. Before I even got started on my journey to be a nurse I came across this website and It really answered a lot of questions about the application process, and was insightful in other areas of nursing that enabled me to think of more questions for answering. what I really love the most was that in previous years ccp applicants supported each other during the nerve wrecking waiting period on getting accepted. that support was so tremendous that a lot of the applicants bonded and became friends. Is there anyone else that has applied for the 2014 CCP program?

yes Thanks Leuqcar

Believe it or not it's tough out there. But after your first semester you can work in any hospital as a nursing assistant.

hey guys, i just got a letter....and i wasnt accepted=((im so upset. i read that some ppl got 15 points and still got into the program, i got 17.9 and didnt make it=(i know its not a lot, but i expected it would be worse.

What was your total point score out of the 9 point scoring system? The AHT is only one deciding factor.

Hi everyone!!! Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted and good luck! to those still waiting to hear back. I received my acceptance letter(!!!!!!!) in the mail today and I was ecstatic! I haven't stopped smiling since. I was originally super skeptical because I never went to check my AHT scores (I take classes at the NERC so I'm never at Main Campus in the first place...) and I had a huge issue with my HS transcripts taking forever to arrive, but I finally feel some relief knowing that I got in :-)

Heyy all, I'm thinking about taking AP2 at CCP, which professor would yall recommend? Thanks

Congratulations!!! I was just like you jackiebees and I never went to get my AHT scores. It just was not convenient since I work full time. However I was on cloud nine when my profile changed and over the moon when the letter arrived.

Professor ****** is amazing! I would definitely recommend her. I have ******* now and he's really great as a professor but your grade is only based on 7 exams which I don't like.

Does anyone know when they start sending out orientation packets?

I believe around April or May because March is the last month to give out Acceptance letters

Thanks. I wanted to start requesting time off from work ( the calendar fills up fast). I guess I will just call in sick on the orientation day, if it is not available.

Hi everyone! I am fairly new to this site so I hope you guys will be able to help me out with this.. I got accepted into the 2014 Nursing Program and made my $50 deposit already. I can't wait to start and meet all my fellow classmates during the orientation. So excited...can't wait!!!!!
