CCP Fall 2011

Published

Hi everyone! I just received my acceptance into Community College of Philadelphia's nursing program and I am sooo excited! I have been trying to go to nursing school for awhile now and it is a huge relief to be accepted somewhere. :yeah: Has anyone else applied or gotten their letters yet? I see a lot of people posting about other schools, but not many recent posts regarding CCP. I hope to hear from some more prospective CCP nursing students!

I'm not sure what the deadline to hear by is. I know in previous years there were people who said they didn't receive their letters until the very end of march so there's definitely still time. i hope you hear soon!! :heartbeat

Hi everyone, I was reading all the posts and I was wondering if everybody got a letter. I saw my enrollment was changed but I still haven't gotten anything in the mail. Getting a little anxious!!!:heartbeat

as long as your enrollment profile was changed to Nursing your fine...Just wait for the letter to arrive...They usually send it out every Friday.

3babys If I were you, while waiting, you better start registering for fall 2011 nursing courses...You can do that even without the letter as long as they have changed your course to Nursing...Goodluck!

Hello all...

Can you tell me if it is 3 or 4 sections that we should be registering for? I did the two hybrid classes and the one ots all Nursing 101. is that correct?

You have to register for the Lecture, Seminar, Lab, and clinicals. The Seminar is online as well as the 55 min portion of the lecture.

Got it now, thanks!! I was missing the lab. They dont have them marked so I had to go back and look by the crn numbers.

hey im also still waiting on my letter. its april 8th already and havent heard anything. Have you gotten yours yet? Can you keep me posted when you get yours so I also know when to expect mine, and Ill keep you posted as well.

I was rejected having 7 points. I know they usually change your curriculum to nursing on Thurs and mail out the letters on Fri. I received my letter 2 wks ago on a Sat and a friend of mine got hers last Sat. When I was still waiting I emailed the department they said we all should hear something by the end of March, but maybe they are just running behind. Good Luck!!

NursingChild- I have Cindy's number who is the assigned counselor for Allied Health careers. She can confirm for you. I'll message you her direct number.

Oops-- never mind. I don't think I can send a PM to you. BUT here is Cindy Walls' number-- 215-751-8881. She can let you know if a letter was sent out or not and she might even tell you whether or not you were accepted over the phone.

I did not get a letter yet. My status was changed the other day to Nursing as of fall 2011. I hope to get my letter soon. I don't know what my score was on the AH test because I never went to go and get my results and they would not give them to me over the phone. I did get a rejection letter about two weeks ago because they said that I had not taken Chemistry. I sent them a letter with proof that I had indeed taken it (I took it last semester at Community) and my status was changed this week. Hope this helps. Good luck to you, I hope you hear something soon. I know that the waiting is torture.
