CCP Fall 2011

Published

Hi everyone! I just received my acceptance into Community College of Philadelphia's nursing program and I am sooo excited! I have been trying to go to nursing school for awhile now and it is a huge relief to be accepted somewhere. :yeah: Has anyone else applied or gotten their letters yet? I see a lot of people posting about other schools, but not many recent posts regarding CCP. I hope to hear from some more prospective CCP nursing students!

I wonder if I'll still get accepted. I got 9 points and still have not seen any change on the website.

:-/

elagro, be patient I'm definitely sure you will be in...There's no reason for you to be not accepted especially you've got 9 pts...

Congrats to you all. I know you must be so excited!! I'm still patiently waiting. Question, did you all have 9 pts? I think I have 8 and was wondering if they accepted anyone with 8 yet. Congrats again and I hope to join you in Sept!

Hi!! I had 8 points

Thanks for the reply. Good to know to keep my spirits up. Congrats again to you!!

I registered for classes today!! :lol2:

Did you do it online? How did you register for lecture and clinical? Do you need to register separate for lecture and clinical?

I just registered too! @Edongzki, yes, you can just go online and register now as long as your major was changed to nursing.

Sorry, Ed-- also you have to register separately for lab, lecture, seminar, and clinical. The hours are typically the same but the class groups are much smaller. The seminar is all done online as well as part of the lecture. You would only need to go to the campus for tests and such.

i just registered for classes and i am kinda confused....did you just need to register for 3 different sections?

yes. you register for lecture, lab, and seminar and then don't forget to scroll all the way down towards the bottom (past the nursing III courses) to register for clinical!

Congrats again to all of you. I know how excited you all must be. I'm still waiting to hear. Does anyone know when the last day is that they have to let you know? I heard everyone should know by March 31, but I'm not sure if that's true. I just want to decide what I'll be doing next year. I was accepted to Temple (not for nursing) and I would like to get registered so I do not end up with a bad schedule. Thanks and congrats again!!
