  1. Last year acceptance letters started going out in February, but when I applied last year I searched and found that in some previous years they went out as soon as the end of January. It's a very stressful wait, I know, but try to be patient. If you are not a very patient person then keep checking your enrollment profile. They will change your curriculum I believe a few days before you receive your letter. If you have 8 or 9 points, you will be fine. If you have 7 you may be OK also, but not always. If you have under 7, then the chance is extremely slim that you'll be accepted because of the large applicant pool that CCP receives. I transferred last fall as I was rejected last year with a 7 point total. I guess I was on the bottom of the 7 pointers! Anyway, best of luck to you! If you don't get in, don't give up! Take more classes while waiting and apply again next year. You could also transfer and move on to somewhere you will get your BSN which you need to get an RN position anyway. Be patient and good luck!! I have a few friends in the program this year at CCP and they say it is VERY hard, but they love it!
  2. Thanks. I'm a student at CCP. Gwynedd is the only school I applied to. I was thinking Aria for January 2012 if I don't get in. I think I may have been too late, but we'll see what happens.
  3. Congrats to all of you!!!! Was there a deadline to apply? I applied online, but could not find a deadline. I know I was really late compared to other schools, but decided to apply anyway.
  4. I was rejected having 7 points. I know they usually change your curriculum to nursing on Thurs and mail out the letters on Fri. I received my letter 2 wks ago on a Sat and a friend of mine got hers last Sat. When I was still waiting I emailed the department they said we all should hear something by the end of March, but maybe they are just running behind. Good Luck!!
  5. Congrats again to all of you. I know how excited you all must be. I'm still waiting to hear. Does anyone know when the last day is that they have to let you know? I heard everyone should know by March 31, but I'm not sure if that's true. I just want to decide what I'll be doing next year. I was accepted to Temple (not for nursing) and I would like to get registered so I do not end up with a bad schedule. Thanks and congrats again!!
  6. Thanks for the reply. Good to know to keep my spirits up. Congrats again to you!!
  7. Congrats to you all. I know you must be so excited!! I'm still patiently waiting. Question, did you all have 9 pts? I think I have 8 and was wondering if they accepted anyone with 8 yet. Congrats again and I hope to join you in Sept!
