Hi everyone! I just received my acceptance into Community College of Philadelphia's nursing program and I am sooo excited! I have been trying to go to nursing school for awhile now and it is a huge relief to be accepted somewhere. Has anyone else applied or gotten their letters yet? I see a lot of people posting about other schools, but not many recent posts regarding CCP. I hope to hear from some more prospective CCP nursing students!
what??? I don't think my acceptance letter said anything about uniforms. It just said I had been accepted and had a little card attached to it for me to send back along with my deposit. Was this a separate paper that you received? I wondering if they forgot to send me something. I have no idea how much the uniforms are, but I don't think it will be too expensive. I read in another CCP thread that we should buy the schools uniform shirt and jacket, but you can get the pants from anywhere because they are just navy scrub pants and the ones the school supplies are ugly. lol. I don't know if the school has made any changes to the uniforms so I will hold off on the pants until I find out what we are supposed to be wearing. I can't wait to start! Does anyone know when orientation is going to be?
That was in the letter that they sent to me as well. Orientation is May 10th. I did not get a card to send back with my deposit though. It just said that you may forfeit your spot if you did not show up for orientation.
My letter had the form to fill out for child abuse clearance, the information about the FBI clearance and some other papers to read and sign.
You do have to make the 50 dollar deposit at the cashiers office AND show up for orientation. Call Antoinette to receive another deposit slip and have her extend your date to pay it. You should get all the clearance and background check info soon because they want your fingerprints ASAP.
And you do have to buy uniforms but not the date of the orientation.
