CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

I'm going to believe this just because of who you spoke to. If that was the case the entire time, the office should have been letting people know instead of telling everyone something completely different. We aren't stupid, we all know that folders have been made long before now - and I can't imagine that they'd allow people to submit their paper work late as I've heard - that's not fair to the people who turned in everything on time. I guess with the number of applications they received, they really have to crack down on reviews and make sure they're taking every application seriously, which is good and reassuring.

Hopefully we'll hear something sooner than June. From the sounds of her information, I'd say by the end of May considering they seem to be back on track. If they finish reviewing by the end of this week, even if it stretches into next week, they should still be able to post seat fees and get the letters out.

Sorry to interrupt the thread- couldn't really find a better one for my question, maybe someone can help me with that...

My question is: Has anyone here taken Bio 110 at CCBC with Prof. Laing?

I really want to do the class this summer, and he/she seems to be the only teacher available.

If anyone can share, I'd appreciate it!

I didn't have that professor, but according to the reviews on Ratemyprofessor, she has 4.6/5 rating. It mentions she's helpful which is a plus because 110 is not an easy course. If you feel you can swing it during the summer, by all means! :-) I took Anatomy last summer so I know Biology in the summer is doable, but it all depends on the teacher.

Nope, which is why I'm not checking it again until maybe the third week of may. Go outside and enjoy spring, stop stressing out there is nothing we can do at this point, it out of our hands.

Same here! I have no one to really rant to (except the girls in Micro who are equally as crazy - that class seems to be as bad as this board is with the rumor mill) so it's nice coming on here and seeing other people feeling the same. ;)

BCCC's deadline was March 18th. :madface:

Well, maybe some good can come of this. Maybe some who were unsure if they wanted to go to CCBC accepted spots other places.
