CCAC Spring 2011

Published

Just wondering if anyone else on here has applied to CCAC for the spring 2011 semester?

Where else did you apply?

i applied to 2 Accelerated BSN programs also because i just graduated with a different degree--Pitt and Marymount University (in Arlington, VA)...i think CCAC is where I really want to go but I'm supposed to send in my acceptances to either of these schools before we're going to hear from CCAC

which of CCAC's programs did you apply to pookalook?

I applied to Allegheny evening and South campus.

So I just recieved an e-mail for nrn 101 students about an internship opportunity. My major is not even listed as nursing...so I'm hoping that this mean I got in. Of course I am obsessing about this. Did anyone else get this e-mail in their blackboard account?

Thank you to those who have called to find out the status of the letters and updating us on the board! I too am waiting to hear back. I applied to the Boyce Fast Track and Alleghany Day. I may still apply to Pitt's Accelerated BSN since I have another degree but the cost for CCAC can't be beat. kg0730 - If you don't mind me asking, did you apply for the Pitt Spring 2011 start, how quickly did they get back to you? Good luck to us all!

jubileejoy--I applied to Pitt's program for Spring 2011 in June and heard from them in August that the Spring 2011 program was full even before I applied. They moved my application to be reviewed for Fall 2011, and I found out a few weeks later that I was accepted. They aren't as quick as some other schools to answer back to you but they WILL give you a better idea of the status of your app. if you contact them. Are you applying for Fall 2011 also?

Well, looks like CCAC North campus closed the building for the rest of the week due to an infestation of bed bugs. I think that'll affect when we hear about the acceptance results. :nurse:

No!!!!! I can't wait another day, let alone a week!!

I could be wrong but I believe it is Allegheny campus that makes the decision on who gets in, not North campus.

I'm pretty sure its North since thats where we turned our applications in and someone else on this site said they overheard a few ladies going through the applications there. Their voicemail box says we will get our info by the end of the month, but other people on this site are saying they talked with a person there and its looking like we'll know halfway through Nov. I dont know what to believe, but whatever happens, happens.
