I have everything done that can be. I can get the second shot of hep B next week. Its a huge relief.

I got my tb test late so I get my second shot on Thursday next week but won't have results until Saturday, do you think I'll be okay or get screwed since everything is due Friday?

I think everything has to be done by the 11th. They made a point to do things early. I'm not sure if they will make an exception. You should contact them.

Call them. I'm leaving for vacation today to SC and I told her I still haven't received my child abuse clearance and I won't be back until the 12th. She wasn't concerned and just wrote it in my notes that I sent it in awhile ago and am just waiting on it.

Did you try calling the Dept of public welfare? I sent mine on May 20th and got it back by May 31st.

I tried to call. Tried to talk to an actual person but didn't happen. Their recording said because of high volumes it could take 6-8 weeks to get it back.

So I finally talked to a human being about my child abuse clearance still not arriving and she checked my name and SSN and there was no record of it. So, either they lost it (which wouldn't surprise me because they always lose our welfare information) or the post office lost it or it got stuck with someone else's mail. So I resent it in today, another 10$ money order and I emailed the Dean of nursing and they said I need it to start clinicals and I'm only allowed to miss 1 day of clinicals, so if it's still not back by then, I fail the course and am kicked out of the program. And it would really suck to have gone through this entire process just to be kicked out because of someone else's mistake. I feel sick.

Ouch, do we know when our clinicals actually start? I'm just assuming they aren't sending us to our sites the first week, but I could be wrong. That would give you a little more time. Also does anyone know how fall break works? Would we still have clinical if we don't have lecture or lab that week?

We will most likely have clinical the first week, my class schedule says august 21 start date..I would hope you will have plenty of time to get the results back in the meantime though! Is orientation the 11th?

Do you still have the receipt for the money order (the top part)? If so you can take it to any post office to see if it was cashed. If not you should be able to ad least get the $10 back.
