Continue to make exercise a priority and you will find time. You definitely need to continue working out for many reasons, especially stress reduction.
Prior to nursing school I ran every other day and didn't stop that while in nursing school. I rarely missed my run, and I worked too.
Good luck!
Should be no problem. Staying in shape will serve you well in nursing school. You have no kids or husband. Keep it that way until after you graduate!! Nursing school is not as demanding of your time as it use to be. You will have plenty of time to exercise. Just cut back on party time and demanding boyfriends.
If you keep it a priority there is no reason you can't work out. I managed it with my schedule while in nursing school, and I had children. I would finish up with school about 12:30 or 1:00. I was able to work out before my kids were home. Also, I usually had Fridays off. So, there was time to squeeze a work out in there.
My "workout" in nursing school are my three thirteen hour nightshifts on my Tele floor. I've managed that and school pretty well (though sometimes I feel like I may pull my fingernails out with my teeth). This definitely sounds feasible to me.
P.S. I feel guilty for watching "So You Think You Can Dance" the day before a test, but hey, we all need our outlets...
I have been working out at a gym since I was 16 years old, I wonder if now when i start nursing school, I will have anytime for this at least three times a week..keep in mind i don't work and no kids..i usually feel better when i exercise, its a great stress reliever rite? and i sleep better..My thing is, i know i will feel guilty being at the gym and i will start thinking i should be studying or doing something for school, any advice?
Unless you are spending 5 hours a day at the gym, you will be fine. Take that hour or two a day for yourself and get away from the books.
I did my best working out when I was a nursing student and I had three young children who went to babysitting.
Be good to yourself.

Did i mention i love this website..it has answered so many of my questions, i have read so many forums..lol its a lil addicting though :).. thanx for ur replys..i wish my school had a gym though, my old school does and its free, but its so far away..the new school im driving to is a little farther away..it sux to have to drive to my school which is quite a drive and then have to drive all the way to my old school where the gym is..and with gas prices so high and i dont work, i don't know if that will be such a great idea well i have small car and it doesnt take to much 2 fill the tank, .. there is a gym 5 minutes near my house but they charge 37 a month, its pretty pricey, don't know wut to do? Any advice?
It's absolutely doable...and I'd totally recommend it! I worked while in nursing school and still managed to work out 5-6 times a week. The only real change I made in my routine was that I spent less time outside roller blading and biking and more time actually in my gym so I could read notes/texts at the same time. I truly did my best studying at the gym because...well, there's nothing else to get distracted by while you're on the elliptical or treadmill! Working out helped me keep the last shred of sanity I had left!
