When I saw that Torrence Memorial had closed their applications to their New Grad program starting in March 2011 I realized we needed a new grad 2011 thread! The 2010 thread was a great place to ask questions and get answers about upcoming new grad opportunities. So let's make this thread the same. :)

Any old new grads out there? How long have you been looking for a job?
I haven't heard anything.. I think it said on the application that they will be contacting people until June 17?
I have a few classmates who interviewed a little over a week ago as internal candidates... It will be interesting to see if they decide to bring in external applicants for interviews. I haven't heard anything either way myself.
What number did you guys call to follow up on your application at UCSD? I'm going to try to call them tomorrow :|
To add to my other previous post. I did go ahead and call Human Resources using the 1-866-831-0331 number they give on the website for UCSD HRD. The lady was very nice. I simply asked what the status was with the hiring of the new grads and if all the positions were filled with the internals. She said she believed they were still working on it and reviewing other applications and if when you log into your status it still says received and/or open you are still in the running- otherwise it would say closed or something like that ( whatever word they use for rejection ). So I guess we just hang in there

Ahh.. When did you last call? Yeah mine says open/received still... I guess I still need to hang on to this one.
