California Health Corps

Haven't seen a any posts about the California Health Corps.

Did anyone register for this?

Thoughts?

Any information on when we will hear back or when people would be "deployed"?

I am an RN student due to graduate in May. I'm wondering if they will still take students even though it sounds like at least 25k licensed professionals applied.

That happened to me in the beginning. All I did was edit the field and re-enter my license number. I think that might of triggered the system to refresh or something.

I have a temporary CA license, as I'm pending full endorsement from another state, which should go through next month. My current temp CA RN license number is only 7 numbers, so I'm wondering if the system doesn't recognize that? So frustrating!

Hi everyone,

I received the email for Step 3. I'm a little confused on how to proceed for required documents under "professional license" as I am a nursing student set to graduate in a few weeks. Anyone know how to navigate past this or what you would submit in place of a license #?

Hi! I think you select the option to bypass the license. It gives you the opportunity to explain why you are bypassing it, and I said that I was a nursing student and will not have my license until around June. I also emailed the DHV to clarify but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. Hope this helps ?

Haven’t heard anything back since I submitted the application on the CalCareers website..... smh!

I have received an email earlier today-

"Dear Jxxx,

Congratulations! After review of your application, you have been selected to be entered into the Health Corps participant pool. We want to thank you for your patience as we work through this hiring process and for volunteering in this time of need."

I think they are still getting to people even now so don't worry if you have to wait!

I don't know anything about the job however. Will we have ? Where will we be deployed/do we have options? Is it 3 12's? Not sure how everything is gonna go down
