ATT dated for CA?
@elliebear How did you search for your license on the BON? I just took my NCLEX this morning and am wondering if my license will be posted online before my NCLEX results post. That is so awesome and surprising to hear, as I heard it can take up to six weeks for our licenses to post online after we pass the NCLEX. CONGRATS!! ?

NCLEX wait time in California??
Hi there! I think there is a big delay right now with COVID-19. I submitted my application on April 29th and have still not received my ATT. I graduated on May 15th and all of my documents are submitted as well. I called the CA BON to ensure they received my transcript and everything and they did! So I am a bit confused as to why it is taking so long. Out of curiosity, does anyone know whether we get our ATT number sent online via email or in a physical letter sent to our address?

NCLEX test date delayed in California?
Hi there, I am not sure what the timeline is like for students who went to school in California, but I went to school in New York, graduated May 15th, and recently moved back home to California where I am going to get licensed. Here is my timeline thus far: I submitted my application to the California Board of Nursing on April 29th. I got my fingerprints done the first week of May, and my conferred transcript was sent from my school to the CA BON on May 20th. I called the BON about one month ago, and they told me that I should get my ATT 10-12 weeks after I submitted my application to the board of nursing, so I expected to test around mid July. However, I called the BON again this morning and they told me there is now an additional 12 week delay, so I am now projected to attain my ATT in early September. Super bummed as many new grad jobs begin in August/September, but I am praying I somehow take my NCLEX sooner than that! Best of luck and hope this helps!

Hi! I think you select the option to bypass the license. It gives you the opportunity to explain why you are bypassing it, and I said that I was a nursing student and will not have my license until around June. I also emailed the DHV to clarify but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. Hope this helps ?

California Health Corps
I am a nursing student graduating next month. My profile still has not been verified, and I set it up about three weeks ago. I reached out asking if I was missing anything and this is what they responded: "The credential verification process typically takes up to 24 hours, but currently we anticipate the process may take between two and 14 days from when you registered. We are unable to provide you with an exact time frame at this time; however, we are verifying licenses and processing registrations as fast as possible as they come in. We will begin to contact volunteers after verification of credentials, and based on current and anticipated needs. If you are located in Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, or Placer County, notifications have been sent out for licensed medical professionals with verified licenses to complete an application for employment through Cal-HR. If you are a licensed medical professional in one of those counties and have not received this notification, please log-in to DHV to check your messaging system. If you are a licensed medical professional located in another county, requests to complete an application will be sent out as soon as possible. If you are not licensed in California, a student, or a professional in a non-medical field, applications may be sent out at a later date, based upon current needs. COVID-19 Response Team" Hopefully this helps w any confusion!
