Anyone applying to calhoun community college spring 2015??

You know, they could probably make it easier on themselves and receive less calls by updating students via social media. Just a quick "hey, nursing applicants! Your letters with be ready soon/ are delayed." I just don't like that last week they said they'd turned over the letters to admissions, and now there aren't even any letters ready? :-\

I agree that they could try to update us a little more, but I think that they are understaffed (at least that is what I was told) which is why it is taking longer this time. It's just unfortunate for us because we will have to deal with all of this and two major holidays! I'm sure ready to get a yes/no and move on with my life! :unsure:

In their defense, there is no telling how many applications they got and they have to verify all those record, scores, etc. I can see where that might take a while. I'll still be checking this thread every day to see if anybody got a letter.

Yes I agree that social media would be a much easier outlet for updating the applicants. If the letters aren't going to be received until November, then we are definitely past the 6 week mark. Thank you all for the updates! It helps knowing that others are just as nervous as I am.

Registration opens Oct. 29th, lets all just hope we get accepted by then :)

Nope. :-( I was so anxious that I was coming here to ask the same thing! I'm just so ready for an answer so I can plan the next few months of my life.

@Jay-bo so did we have class together? They moderated the crap out of my post! Yes I took Micro over the summer at Hsv campus.

I am going to flip out if I don't get a letter like Tuesday lol
