  1. I went Friday and she was not there. The lady in admissions said I needed instructor approval to register, I will be back first thing Mondays morning. This is getting frustrating, as I have had everything complete for over a month now :/
  2. Has anyone received the email for uploading medical paperwork? I am going in today to see if I can register, all my requirements have been met (except for uploading immunizations). My major has been changed in the system...but online I am still not authorized for registration.
  3. So much for being finished with registration! I checked today and my schedule has been deleted..Oh well, guess I will re-do Friday. Weird thing is, when I go into 'Look Up Classes' the boxes are there to mark for choosing classes, and the boxes are gone for the classes that I choose in Nov when I first registered. That is what happens when you are scheduled for the class....and it shows seats taken in several classes. (NO classes are full that I see) But alas, I have no schedule. It simply states "You are not registered for Spring 2015" So weird...I'm not gonna mess with it, best to wait for the advisor appt.....And deep cleansing breath....AHHHHH
  4. Yes, I did all in one day...results for titer back in two days
  5. I believe we are waiting on an email with further instructions..... for what exactly? I don't know. Maybe it will not be sent until after orientation.
  6. Anyone get an e-mail yet?
  7. Hey Jay-bo, Can I ask what kind of hours you will be working at the hospital so that it will not interfere with your school schedule?....I ask because I have been thinking of doing the same, but was worried the hospital hours would be too much (I also have three kids and a husband that will be starting the program in the Fall, so we don't want to stretch ourselves too far!).
  8. I got all of mine done there. They are a walk-in clinic so no appointments, but they are open 7-5 Mon-Fri and I believe 8-4 Sat-Sun. They will accept school documents for vaccinations, you may find yours at your health dept. (I brought in my Army records) Physical-45.00 MMR titer-175.00 ...they only do the titer, if you need the vac you will have to go elsewhere Varicilla titer- 50.00 - they also only do a titer for this, but if you are as old as me you probably had chicken pox! Tetorifice vac- 65.00 Two step PPD- 24.00 Flu vac-25.00 Hep B vac- 3 injections at around 96.00 a piece (I went with the waiver on that) They will do all of this in one day. PPD takes approximately eleven days. Because I was good on MMR (Army) and opted out of the Hep B, I got out with around a 200.00 bill. Not too bad. They are well organized, clean and friendly...I highly recommend them.
  9. OUCH! Sounds like my kinda luck as well! Congrats on the job though :) I'm Angela- the short brunette girl, 33
  10. PPD at Medical East in Athens is $24-for the two step. I have paid in full and done step one so I guess I will just finish it (just in case). And if I need another in Jan at least it's not expensive.
  11. So, I got on Mycalhoun Nov 12th...(the next open registration day) and at 7:55 am I was told that I was not able to register (no add/drop, no worksheet) BUT, at exactly 8 am I was able to change any part of my registration. Weird. I changed nothing....I just check everyday because that is what the Nursing Dept. Secretary told me to do. :)
  12. I have gotten my full physical, my titer for Chicken Pox, my Tetorifice vac., my flu vac., and started my two step TB....all at Medical East. (I had verification for MMR), all for $200! I am to return for the second step TB and titer results next week. I guess I should not finish my two step TB. I don't know how I overlooked that! As far as the Hep B, I am signing the waiver. I've had it, but no proof. Does anyone know if the waiver is sufficient for admission? Hep B vacs are super expensive...so is the titer!
  13. I am registered and taking clinical on Thursday. (I registered before I even got my letter)....and my schedule has not changed thus far (I check everyday) I am going to Med east for vaccinations (they are way cheaper than my primary physician, as I am not insured). 160 is pretty much a guaranteed in...I had 162...a BIO 202 teacher told me anyone with 150+ should feel safe. As far as moving down the list goes, I was told the same as MissMeeks, except that GPA is also a factor.
  14. I feel ya. I had to wait til this spring, only to find out that this spring semester is skipping the summer! Set me back over six months for graduation!...but what do you do. Don't give up!
  15. Did the rejection letter have a point cut off?....mine did when I didn't make it in the Fall.
