Calhoun community college spring 2015

Anyone applying to calhoun community college spring 2015??

I went to the information session at Calhoun yesterday. We were told that there is no minimum score for the teas. They pick the top 100 people with the highest total score. That makes me feel a lot better but still nervous.

Hello everyone,

I'm applying for the spring semester after I didn't make it in for fall. I had 131 points, but I'm going to try and take the TEAS again to see if I can make a few more points.

From what I saw last time, the fall program admitted 120 spots, so would that mean that if the nursing department said they admitted 100 spots that the spring start date has fewer slots?

Though I wasn't accept to the RN program, I was offered a spot on the LPN program, but I turned it down. If I don't make it this time, I'm not sure if I'll take the LPN option or perhaps use my time to complete a CNA course.

Either way, good luck everybody.

@ mandywoo21 I was raised in Puyallup Washington and have lived in the south for over 15 years! Not sure what brings you down here (my Dad works for Boeing) but I hope you will find a way to enjoy it...it is VERY different and will take a lot of adjusting :) Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to help!

She did say they will be admitting roughly 120 people. I used that as the example she gave on how they select their picks.

Hey Spring 2015 folks! Anyone interested in going to CPR/First Aid class with me in Madison the 2nd Saturday in October? I think it's $25 and it's approved by the CCC RN program.

Where and what time? I'm interested.

Yes, I would defiantly like to go!

i was in the navy...so just headed back home :)

Which cpr class is required?? or where can i find that info?..i know there are several different kinds offered.

Hey- I just applied for the Spring RN program! I live in Boise ID and wasn't able to attend the informational meeting, at this point I could use any details!: ) Does anyone know if you need the CPR from Alabama or could I use mine from Idaho? Also, did they mention when the orientation date is after you get accepted?
