Anyone applying for Calhoun's nursing program this fall? I am and I am really anxious and excited!!!

Me too. Does anyone know when the orientation meeting is after they send out acceptance letters ? I'm trying to schedule a small outpatient procedure before school starts. Someone told me that they usually get the acceptance letters out in about 4 weeks.

Also a few of us are trying to get a carpool thing going to help save gas driving to Decatur. Like meet at HSV campus and go from there. I am in Harvest if anyone is close to me. We could carpool.

Carpool thing is a great idea!i talked to textbook brokers. They are making a package this year. (at least that's what he told me) I believe orientation is in July. I also agree on E-books I like to highlight and underline and it doesn't feel right staring at a screen and studying.

I live in Toney but work in Decatur but would be interested in a carpool for clinicals (I'm doing PTE so I would leave work to go straight to class). I applied for spring last time and it took about three weeks to get a letter and then I think the orientation was a couple of weeks after the letters came out. I decided to wait to start since I needed PTE because I have a full time job. Good Luck everyone!!!!

Carpooling is a great idea! I'm in Harvest, and applied for PTE at 1st choice and Days 2nd choice. I'm sure at some point we're going to have clinicals in Hartselle or Cullman or something, and carpooling there would be great.

The wait is killing me! Last semester it was almost exactly four weeks after the deadline when the letters were mailed. If that is the case this time that means we only have another week or so until we find out. :)

Yea my mail lady already thinks I am nutz. How many days was it when you received your letter last time? I am thinking it might take longer this time because they weren't admitting for all the evening / part time courses last spring so it is probably more applicants this time

Still no letter for me either :( my boyfriend is starting to think I need to be on anti anxiety meds because I throw a mini fit each time I go out and it's not there lol. But the 23rd of June will be 1 month and we will still have 2 weeks until times up after the 1 month marker. :whistling: But it will be in before 2 week of July.

I'm just not even getting my hopes up until the 23rd. Besides, I'm in Miami (we're moving) so whatever I get will take longer anyways. :down:
